Happy Birthday General Washington!
A Family Celebration, Peachfield 2 pm
Gen. Washington was adored by the people of America and his birthday was a special event. Hear stories about Washington and join our special costumed guest as he cuts the General's cake. Children's activities include make & take and story time.

Wednesdays at Peachfield-March into History
Wednesdays, March 3, 10, 17 & 24 from 4 pm to 5:15 pm
Suitable for students in grades 3, 4 and 5.
A costumed historic interpreter will guide students into the Eighteenth Century. Each afternoon has a different theme; all of them have period-appropriate crafts, games, stories and snacks. Guaranteed to be fun and teach something about the way our forefathers lived long ago.

Writing Women Back Into History 11 am - 4 pm
In 1930, local resident Miriam Harker set out to restore Peachfield to its 18th century appearance; Mrs. Harker lived and entertained at this historic home throughout the first half of the last century. Visit Peachfield and learn more about Mrs. Harker and her vision.
FREE Admission for all.

Mrs. Harker's Tea 2 - 4 pm
You are cordially invited to visit Peachfield and to enjoy traditional tea sandwiches, scones and sweets typical of Mrs. Harker's era while learning more about serving tea in the Colonial Revival manner.
Admission: $15 per person includes refreshments and presentation.
Seating is limited and reservations are required.
The all new Tea and Talk program affords visitors an opportunity to learn about a selected historic topic of interest to them while enjoying traditional tea refreshments served in the Great Room at Peachfield. Arrangements may be made for this special private 90-minute event for groups of 6 to 16 by appointment only on weekday afternoons. This is an ideal choice for a special celebration; a topic list is included with your reservation packet. The fee for this unique offering is $175.00 for up to 12 guests; additional guests, up to a total of 16 people, may be added for an additional $12 per person.
All programs take place at Peachfield, the Headquarters of The National Society of the Colonial Dames of America in the State of New Jersey.
